Terms and Conditions
Terms & Conditions – At a Glance
At Click Backdrops, many of our products are made to order, produced in selected sizes or manufactured to individual customer specifications. It is therefore important that you check all order details carefully before purchasing.
-
Unless otherwise required by law, all orders are final once placed and cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or exchanged because you have changed your mind.
-
This includes standard backdrops, made-to-order products, custom and personalised products, clearance products, promotional packages, pre-orders and backdrop packages.
-
Pre-orders and backdrop packages are confirmed purchases from the point the order is placed, regardless of whether the individual backdrop designs have subsequently been selected.
-
Custom and personalised products cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons where the law permits this exclusion.
-
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrectly supplied or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us promptly and provide clear photographs.
-
Where an issue is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund as required by applicable law.
-
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
-
Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. We do not store customers’ full payment-card details.
-
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.
-
We use personal information to process orders, provide customer service and, where consent has been given, send marketing communications. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
These highlights are a summary only. The complete Terms & Conditions below apply to purchases made through the Click Backdrops website.
Terms & Conditions – Click Backdrops
Last updated: 4 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases made through the Click Backdrops website (“Website”).
By placing an order through our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Delivery Policy and Refund, Returns & Replacement Policy.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or affect any statutory rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

2. Using our Website
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order through our Website.
You agree to use the Website lawfully and not to:
-
misuse, damage or interfere with the Website or its systems;
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its systems or customer accounts;
-
use the Website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes; or
-
infringe our rights or the rights of another person.
We may suspend or terminate access to an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful activity, misuse or a breach of these Terms.
3. Products
Many Click Backdrops products are made to order, manufactured in the size selected by the customer or produced to the customer’s individual specifications.
Product descriptions will identify the relevant product, material, size, design and available options. You are responsible for checking these details carefully before placing an order.
Product images, lifestyle images and digital previews are provided for illustrative purposes. Colours and appearance may vary slightly because of:
-
individual screen and device settings;
-
differences between digital displays and printed materials;
-
the material on which the design is printed;
-
lighting conditions;
-
production tolerances; and
-
differences in the scale or crop required for the selected product size.
Reasonable variations of this nature will not necessarily mean that a product is faulty or materially different from what was ordered.
4. Custom artwork and customer-supplied content
Where you provide artwork, logos, photographs, wording, branding or other material for use in a product, you confirm that:
-
you own the material or have permission to use it;
-
our use of the material will not infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights;
-
the material is accurate, lawful and suitable for the requested purpose; and
-
you have checked all spelling, names, dates, dimensions and other supplied information.
You are responsible for carefully checking and approving any proof provided to you. Once a proof has been approved or production has begun, changes may not be possible.
We may refuse to reproduce material that we reasonably believe is unlawful, offensive, misleading or infringes another person’s rights.
5. Prices and VAT
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.
Delivery charges and any other applicable charges will be displayed separately during checkout before the order is placed.
We may change our prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
If an obvious pricing, product-description or technical error occurs, we may reject or cancel the affected order. If payment has already been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or order.
6. Placing an order and contract formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products from us.
After placing an order, you may receive an automated order acknowledgement. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A legally binding contract is formed when we send an order acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or when we begin manufacturing or fulfilling the order, whichever occurs first.
We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance if:
-
payment is not authorised;
-
a product is unavailable;
-
there is a pricing, product-description or Website error;
-
we cannot fulfil the requested specifications;
-
delivery cannot be completed to the supplied address;
-
we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unlawful activity; or
-
the order contains content that we reasonably believe is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled product or order.
7. Order details and changes
You are responsible for checking your order carefully before submitting it, including:
-
the selected artwork or design;
-
dimensions and orientation;
-
material;
-
quantity;
-
spelling and personalised information;
-
delivery address; and
-
contact details.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, orders are final once placed.
If you contact us immediately after placing an order, we may try to accommodate a requested change, but we cannot guarantee that any change or cancellation will be possible, particularly where artwork preparation, processing, printing, manufacture or fulfilment has begun.
Any agreed changes may affect the price and estimated delivery time.
8. Payment
We accept payments through the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include:
-
Super Payments;
-
PayPal;
-
Klarna;
-
Advanced Card Processing;
-
credit cards; and
-
debit cards.
Payment services are provided by third-party payment providers and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not store your complete payment-card details.
Where a third-party finance or payment service is used, your agreement with that provider is separate from your purchase contract with us.
9. Pre-orders and backdrop packages
All pre-orders and backdrop-package purchases are considered confirmed purchases from the point the order is placed and, subject to any cancellation rights that cannot legally be excluded, are non-refundable regardless of whether the individual backdrop designs have subsequently been selected.
When purchasing a pre-order or package, you are purchasing and securing the package, promotional offer and/or associated discounted pricing available at the time of purchase.
Selection of individual backdrop designs at a later date forms part of the fulfilment of the existing order. It does not constitute a new purchase or a separate contract.
Choosing not to select your backdrops, delaying your selections, changing your mind or deciding that you no longer require the products does not, by itself, create a contractual right to cancel the package or receive a full or partial refund.
Where a package allows designs to be selected at a later date, you remain entitled to make those selections in accordance with the conditions and selection process applicable to the package purchased.
Any applicable expiry date, selection period, product restrictions, available sizes or other package-specific conditions will be provided with the relevant package or promotion.
10. Custom and personalised products
Products manufactured to a customer’s individual specifications cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons where applicable law permits this exclusion.
This may include:
-
personalised designs;
-
customer-supplied artwork;
-
non-standard sizes or specifications;
-
products containing customer names, logos, photographs or branding; and
-
other genuinely bespoke products produced specifically for the customer.
Nothing in this section affects your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise fails to comply with applicable law.
11. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all Click Backdrops orders are final once placed and are not eligible for cancellation, refund, return or exchange because of a change of mind.
This includes:
-
standard backdrops;
-
made-to-order products;
-
custom and personalised backdrops;
-
clearance products;
-
promotional packages;
-
pre-orders; and
-
backdrop packages.
Choosing the wrong size, material, design or orientation, changing your mind, no longer requiring the product or delaying the selection of products included in a package does not, by itself, create a contractual right to a refund, return, exchange or cancellation.
Where applicable law provides a cancellation right that cannot be excluded, that right will continue to apply.
Full information is available in our Refund, Returns & Replacement Policy.
12. Damaged, faulty or incorrect products
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us promptly at [email protected].
Where reasonably possible, we ask that visible delivery damage is reported within 24 hours. However, failure to report an issue within 24 hours does not remove or restrict any statutory rights you may have.
Please provide:
-
your order number;
-
a clear description of the issue;
-
clear photographs of the complete product;
-
close-up photographs showing the damage, fault or error; and
-
photographs of the packaging where the packaging was damaged.
Where packaging is visibly damaged upon delivery, please report this to the courier wherever reasonably possible and photograph the packaging before disposing of it.
We may ask for further reasonable information or evidence to help us assess the issue. You should not dispose of the product or packaging while the matter is being investigated unless we confirm that you may do so.
Once the issue has been verified, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as required by applicable law.
This policy does not cover damage caused after delivery by:
-
incorrect handling;
-
unsuitable installation;
-
improper storage;
-
misuse;
-
accidental damage;
-
unauthorised alteration or repair; or
-
normal wear and tear.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights concerning goods that are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described.
13. Clearance and sale products
Clearance, sale, ex-display, ex-demonstration and print-seconds products may have cosmetic imperfections or other characteristics clearly identified in the product description.
You should review the product description and photographs carefully before purchasing.
A product will not be considered faulty solely because of an imperfection, variation or characteristic that was clearly disclosed before purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the product has an undisclosed fault, is materially different from its description or does not otherwise comply with applicable law.
14. Delivery
Orders are delivered using the delivery service shown during checkout or in your dispatch confirmation. Our delivery partners may include Royal Mail, DHL or another suitable carrier.
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed in writing that delivery by a particular date is essential.
We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by you.
You must notify us promptly if you become aware that your delivery information is incorrect. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered production or dispatch.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the product is delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive it, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, your legal rights concerning late or failed delivery are not affected by this section.
15. Failed delivery and returned parcels
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address and for making reasonable arrangements to receive the parcel.
If a parcel is returned to us because:
-
the delivery address was incorrect or incomplete;
-
delivery was refused;
-
the parcel was not collected;
-
no one was available after the carrier’s permitted delivery attempts; or
-
you failed to respond to the carrier,
we may require payment of reasonable additional delivery costs before the order is sent again.
This does not apply where the failed delivery was caused by us or our delivery provider and was not attributable to you.
16. Marketing and communications
We may send you service messages that are necessary to process and manage your order, including order confirmations, production updates, delivery information and customer-service communications.
We will only send marketing communications where we have a lawful basis to do so. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
17. Privacy and cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our:
-
Privacy Policy; and
-
Cookie Policy.
These policies explain how we collect, use, store and protect personal information and how cookies and similar technologies are used on our Website.
18. Intellectual property
All Website content, including text, photographs, graphics, product images, backdrop designs, artwork, videos, logos, branding and Website layout, is owned by or licensed to Click Backdrops.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, publish or otherwise use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Purchasing a physical backdrop does not transfer ownership of the intellectual-property rights in the design or artwork.
19. Reviews, photographs and user content
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, video or other content for publication or promotional use, you confirm that:
-
you own the content or have permission to submit it;
-
any identifiable person shown has consented to the intended use;
-
the content is accurate and lawful; and
-
the content does not infringe another person’s rights.
Where content is specifically submitted for publication or promotional use, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with our Website, social-media channels and marketing.
You may contact us if you want us to stop using voluntarily submitted content in future marketing. This will not necessarily affect material already printed, published or lawfully distributed.
We may decline or remove content that we reasonably consider unlawful, misleading, offensive, irrelevant or infringing.
20. Business customers
If you purchase products wholly or mainly for purposes connected with your trade, business, craft or profession, you are purchasing as a business customer and not as a consumer.
Statutory rights and protections that apply exclusively to consumers may not apply to business purchases.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
21. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
-
death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
-
breach of statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded;
-
defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded; or
-
any other liability that it would be unlawful to exclude or limit.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we only supply products for private use. We are not liable for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, contracts, data or business interruption.
If you are purchasing as a business, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unsuitable storage, unauthorised alteration or failure to follow product-care instructions.
22. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by an event outside our reasonable control.
Such events may include:
-
natural disasters;
-
severe weather;
-
fire or flooding;
-
pandemics or epidemics;
-
industrial disputes;
-
transport or carrier disruption;
-
interruption to utilities or communications;
-
supply-chain disruption;
-
government restrictions; or
-
failure of essential equipment despite reasonable maintenance.
If an event outside our reasonable control affects your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.
Your statutory rights, including any rights relating to substantial delivery delays, are not affected.
23. External links
Our Website may contain links to websites operated by third parties.
These links are provided for information or convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, security, terms or privacy practices of third-party websites.
24. Complaints
If you have a complaint about an order or our service, please contact:
Email: [email protected]
Please provide your order number and sufficient information for us to investigate the matter.
We will aim to review and respond to complaints within a reasonable period.
25. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any contract between you and us are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living in England or Wales, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also be entitled to rely on the mandatory consumer laws of the country in which you live and bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you are purchasing as a business, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
26. General provisions
If any section of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue in full force and effect.
A delay or failure by us to enforce any provision does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
No person other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms unless applicable law provides otherwise.
27. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on our Website together with its effective date.
Changes will not apply retrospectively to an order already placed unless the change is required by law or you expressly agree to it.
28. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms, our Refund, Returns & Replacement Policy or any other Website policy is intended to exclude, restrict or affect any statutory rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
For information about consumer rights, you may visit the UK Government’s consumer-rights guidance or contact Citizens Advice.
