Therese Asplund

Therese Asplund is a Swedish portrait and fine art photographer and an international ambassador for Elinchrom, Canson, and Nikon. She has her own studio for twenty years, working with both commercial and private clients, and educates worldwide. Throughout the years, Therese has found competitions to be a fun way to grow and learn new things, and has collected numerous prestigious awards along the way including several categories, as well as overall Photographer of the Year, for the Click Masters Digital & Print Competition 2025. These accolades in addition to Therese’s passion for design and creativity has led her to the path of becoming a Click Backdrops Signature Designer. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to join the Click Backdrop family and design my own signature line, ‘Colours of Scandanavia’. Every design began as a watercolor painting at my kitchen table, and the fact that they now get to be used in studios around the world is the coolest thing! With paint and beautifully structured fine art paper, I’ve created backdrops that I know can bring my creative visions to life, and I hope they inspire other photographers to create their own magic.
